The Albert Einstein Hospital did not start with a large structure, or provided by a large amount of capital. The institution was conceived in 1955 by the doctor Manoel Tabacow Hidal, who presented the contract for close friends.

Before long, the dream of a small group became the focus of the entire Jewish community – offering to the Brazilian population an institution able to take the leading position in healthcare.

Still in the 60s, the hospital focused on social responsibility, working heavily on child care  – was instituted to Care Pediatrics, which served free of charge to children living in the Morumbi area.

The practice lasted for many years and, in 1997, the institution has implemented the Program Einstein in the Community Paraisópolis, serving 10,000 children in the community.

The expansion project was started in 2006. In just three years, the Company Brazilian Israelite Beneficent could run a pharaonic project – the main unit in Morumbi, has 16 floors on 70,000 m² of construction, new pavilions and buildings.

The Albert Einstein Hospital, along with the Lebanese Syrian Hospital and Samaritan Hospital, take the narrow list of HIMSS classification, an international organization which certifies the effective use of information technology in health care.

In addition to providing tests and clinical images to patients over the Internet, much of the structure is automated, ie, by a software with predetermined protocols.

The institutions cited are on stage six in a form of classification that goes from zero to seven.

Surgery Center

The Morumbi Unit has six operating rooms focusing on the field of Ophthalmology, called Minimally Invasive. In them, the surgeries are done by laser. The same pavilion – Vicky and Joseph saphra – also has six traditional operating rooms.

The building Manoel Tabacow Hidal – Morumbi in the same complex – has 14 rooms for highly complex surgeries such as transplants, cardiac, neurological surgery and any other specialty to present high risk.

Some surgeries are automated and made by a robot named da Vinci. The Albert Einstein established robotic surgery in 2008, performing in three years, 600 surgeries in the sport.

The initiator provides the necessary infrastructure to leverage selected startups surveys, which have access to the laboratories and can use the results obtained in the field.

The Eretz.Bio established partnerships with national and international pharmaceutical companies. Its function is to create new business science and technology, fueling one lagged market in Brazil.
